Anonymous asked: What does this quote you posted mean to you: “Stop ruining love by wanting it so bad.”
It means that in desperation to be wanted we ruin what is in front of us. We crave a love so strong that we try to fit a circle in a square, which isn’t wrong of us to want, but it locks us up. Our brain is wired for someone we might not really be compatible with, wired so much that we ruin something sacred. And I have experienced this. I have been so intertwined with someone, wanted love so badly, that I was blind to who they were… a terrible person. So it was ruined by my need for it. My need for it poisoned my perception, poisoned the people involved because our paths just weren’t meant to coincide. So in other words, let it flow. Let it be awkward at first. Let it be weird. And most importantly, let it happen how it’s supposed to.
